We stayed at Arcadia Lodge in Russell for a weekend and it was the best choice we could have made. the historic property had so much character and the views of the bay were breathtaking. Greg and Peter, our hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their attention to detail and hospitality were unmatched. the breakfasts prepared by Peter were superb, even during a power failure. When we had a flat tire and no spare, Peter went out of his way to help us, spending over an hour to ensure we could safely drive back to Auckland. We will definitely recommend this place to others and visit again ourselves with our parents. ❤️
Nothing not to like about Arcadia Lodge 😊

Chose this hotel for a work consultation due to its conference center. The facilities were top-notch and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings provided the perfect ambiance for a productive and successful event.
Only downside was the lack of a dedicated business center with printing and copying services. It would have been convenient to have these facilities readily available for my work needs.

At Arcadia Lodge, we got really good value for our money with a well-appointed self-contained cottage boasting amazing views of the harbor. The optional breakfast, made from owner-grown ingredients, was superb. Greg and Peter, our lovely hosts, were really nice too provide us with helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The lodge itself exuded charm and had a fascinating history. We are already planning our return!

I chose this hotel for attending a seminar because it provides a conference center. The facilities were top-notch, with modern equipment and comfortable seating. The staff was also very helpful in setting up the room and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. it was a great experience for my work needs.
I only wish they had a business center with printing and copying services. It would have been convenient for me to quickly access these facilities without having to leave the hotel.
